Your Amazon Wedding Guide
Amazon can be glorious but, before we dive into some of Amazon’s wedding goodies, let it be known, we do not recommend having a DIY wedding!! But, we also know budgets exist and sometimes you have to spend sparingly in one area to accommodate in another. And let's be honest, sometimes things slip and next thing you know, you forgot to buy a guest book and your wedding is only a week away. That's where our Amazon wedding guide comes in. If you wish to take advantage of these offers, we also suggest abiding by the following rules:
1. Do not have an “Amazon” Wedding.
What we mean is, don’t purchase everything off amazon. Much of what you will find on Amazon is generic. There is nothing personal about the items you will find on this site. Your wedding should be about you, as a couple, it should tell your story and reflect what you enjoy. Amazon items cannot do that.
2. Do not buy faux florals off Amazon, or anywhere else.
This should go without saying, but in case you need to hear it from us, hire a full service florist. Faux flowers aren’t any cheaper than real ones & if you are working with a professional florist who knows the industry, they can help you decide what you can and cannot afford. Additionally, a full service florist includes set up and tear down. I can guarantee that Amazon's faux floral offerings cannot do that.
3. Hire professional vendors
Amazon may be able to provide you with an item or two that you’ve been looking for, but they cannot provide you with the quality, professional and personal services that wedding industry vendors can. Having a team of trusted professionals on board for your wedding day ensures that both the planning process and the actual wedding day go smoothly. Hire them & trust them, you will not regret it.
